The investment will allow the extraction of natural gas from the Tarnogród-Wola Ró?aniecka deposit, estimated at 450 million m3. About 40 million m3 of high-methane gas (methane content of more than 98%) is planned to be extracted during the first year of operation. The size of the deposit will allow 20 years of mining operations.
Natural gas from the Tarnogród-Wola Ró?aniecka deposit is extracted from a depth of 507 to 964 metres. The gas will be supplied to the national natural gas transmission network (Operator Gazoci?gów Przesy?owych Gaz-System) and used as an energy source by end customers.
The gas wells are situated in two counties, Bi?goraj County (the Province of Lublin) and Przeworsk County (the Province of Subcarpathia).
The mine was constructed over a period of two years. Construction involved drilling six new wells and building surface drilling facilities, gathering pipelines connecting the wells to the technical facility, gas measurement and pressure reduction stations, and gas treatment and dehydration plants, as well as the preparation of necessary infrastructure. The cost of the investment was PLN 26 million.
