They started start-up and commissioning works at the naphtha hydrotreating installation of the TANECO Complex started. The forecast duration of the program is expected to take 60 days.

The following operations will be performed during this time: acceptance of the fuel gas, lining acceptance of the drying furnace and the reactor unit, loading of the catalyst and performance of its sulphidation. Also, checking of the emergency pressure relief system will be implemented.

The works were on shutting down section 1300 of the naphtha stabilization block were successfully carried out in the period from January 14 to 15 to perform work on the integration of process control systems of the naphtha stabilization and naphtha hydrotreatment.

There was a connection made of the hydrotreating unit to existing communications (flare, flue gas chimney, recycled water).

After completion of commissioning of the installation will be operated in different test modes followed subsequent operation at full processing capacity of 1.1 million tons of naphtha per year.

The naphtha hydrotreaing installation is designed for deep desulfurization of the straight-run naphtha and the delayed coker naphtha without put of raw material for isomerization and catalytic reforming. The inclusion of the mentioned units in the process flow of the Complex TANECO will enable starting production of components for the yielding motor gasoline brands.
