The Chiyoda Group and Joint Venture Partners Saipem S.p.A. and Daewoo E&C Announce Engineering and Procurement (EP) Contract Agreement for the Nigeria LNG Train 7 Project

 Chiyoda Corporation is pleased to announce that Nova Mirai Engineering S.R.L. (NME), an Italy-based subsidiary of Chiyoda Corporation, in joint venture with Saipem S.p.A. and Daewoo E&C Co., Ltd. (SCD JV) has been awarded by Nigeria LNG Limited the contract for the Engineering and Procurement of the Nigeria LNG Train 7 Project. Saipem will operate as the leader of SCD JV and NME will provide specified offshore technical support to SCD JV Milan office for the LNG project.
Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is a limited liability company whose main shareholders are the Federal Government of Nigeria represented by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Shell Gas B.V., Total Gaz Electricite Holdings France and Eni International (N.A.) N.V.S.a.r.l.
The NLNG Train 7 Project consists of the construction of one complete LNG train and one additional liquefaction unit with a total capacity of approximately eight (8) MTPA, plus other extensive associated utilities and infrastructure.
