On 10 January 2008, Polskie LNG Sp. z o.o. and SNC Lavalin, the winner of the tender for delivery of the engineering design of the regasification terminal in Świnoujście, executed the respective agreement. On the part of Polskie LNG, the contract was signed by Tadeusz Zwierzyński, President, and on the part of SNC Lavalin Services Ltd., by Jean Nehme, Senior Vice‑President. The terminal in Świnoujście will be the first project of this kind in the Baltic Sea basin.
