SGS SA and Kirk Petrophysics Ltd have entered into a Cooperation Agreement to jointly offer their expertise and services to the Oil & Gas Exploration and Production market. Kirk Petrophysics™ will provide customers with a comprehensive suite of wellsite core handling and processing solutions, while SGS will deliver a full range of wellsite reservoir fluid sampling and analytical related services using their FluidPro PAL™ service.

The agreement will create the industry’s most complete and innovative well site solutions for the acquisition, analysis and independent quality control of cores and reservoir fluid samples. Real time information at the well site or in remote locations will be available using portable laboratory services for both core and fluid samples, backed up by regional based laboratories and expertise.
