Sercel announced that it has sold a 2,000-channel 508XT land seismic acquisition system to Wellfield Services.

Headquartered in Chile, with offices and operations throughout South America, Wellfield Services selected Sercel’s latestgeneration 508XT system to conduct surveys in challenging terrain with dense vegetation in Brazil. Used in combination with the SG-5, Sercel’s high-sensitivity 5-Hz single sensor, the 508XT will significantly increase production while ensuring optimum data is recorded for the best imaging result.
