Schlumberger and New Tech Engineering announced that they have signed a worldwide agreement whereby New Tech Engineering will provide wellsite consultants and engineering services for Schlumberger Integrated Project Management (IPM) activities worldwide.
The agreement gives Schlumberger additional access to New Tech Engineering expertise in drilling operations consulting; deepwater environments; high-pressure-high-temperature operations; and production and completion services while New Tech Engineering gains expansion into new markets and geographical areas. The term of the agreement is for 10 years.
Founded in 1998, New Tech Engineering—a leading US-based upstream operations consulting firm—has headquarters in Houston, Texas, USA, with 66 employees and more than 350 wellsite consultants under management from a total resource base of 4,400 consultants. New Tech Engineering US branch offices are located in Fort Worth, Midland, Lafayette, Tyler, Denver and Pittsburgh.
