Samsung Engineering awarded ADNOC Refining Waste Heat Recovery Project (U.A.E)
Samsung Engineering announced, that it has received a letter of award (LOA) from ADNOC Refining in Abu Dhabi, to deliver a new power & water generation plant for the company at a total contract value of $473 million.

The Waste Heat Recovery Project (WHRP) will be constructed at the Ruwais Industrial Complex, 240 km west of Abu Dhabi City providing additional power and fresh water to the facility when it comes on stream in 2023.

The scope of work includes the installation of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) as well as a new steam turbine and generator (STG) desalination unit.

Samsung Engineering has previously delivered six projects in the Ruwais complex. Existing experienced manpower, equipment, facilities and partner networks will be an important part of delivering this project safely and on schedule.
