SAMSUNG E&A, a total solutions provider for the global energy industry, announced its intention to collaborate with Honeywell to explore opportunities to drive technology advancement, boost energy efficiency, and expand collaborative efforts in the global energy sector.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), announced at the 9th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the two companies plan to combine their expertise and experience to advance technology solutions in the areas of carbon capture and storage (CCS), waste-to-sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) technologies, and energy efficiency improvements. This latest agreement builds upon the strong synergies between the two companies as they continue to expand collaborations globally.

This builds upon existing collaborations between Honeywell and SAMSUNG E&A, including an agreement to provide Honeywell’s advanced solvent carbon capture (ASCC) technology for hard-to-abate energy projects worldwide, as well as a recently formed strategic SAF technology alliance to drive end-to-end production of SAF from biomass and municipal waste, with Johnson Matthey and GIDARA Energy.
