RDS wins Pharis Energy conceptual study contract
RDS, KCA Deutag's global provider of engineering and design solutions to the oil and gas, renewable and alternative energy sectors, is pleased to announce that it has won a new contract to carry out a conceptual study for Pharis Energy.

Pharis Energy aims to initiate the first major offshore steam flood project in the world and is currently exploring innovative ways to maximise oil recovery in the Pilot Field in the UK North Sea. RDS's scope of work on this project will include Jack-Up screening and selection and the Well Head Platform design.

This work will be executed out of RDS's London and Aberdeen offices. Commenting on the contract award, Albert Allan, RDS Senior Vice President, said "This is an exciting study for RDS and we are looking forward to working with Pharis Energy on this project which pushes the boundaries of oil recovery in the UK North Sea. Through our agile, fit for purpose and scalable engineering teams we are able to deliver maximum value for our client."
