Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) has partnered with leading national and international oil and gas companies to set up a USD 10 billion state-of-the-art Greenfield integrated refinery project and petrochemical complex in Balochistan.
PPL along with leading state-owned oil and gas companies, OGDCL, GHPL and PSO, have signed an MoU in collaboration with global oil giant Aramco, China National Offshore Oil Corp, to establish the country’s largest oil refinery with an estimated production capacity of 300,000 bbls/ day in Gwadar, Balochistan.
Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Musadiq Malik and Additional Secretary (Incharge), Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) Captain (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood attended the MOU signing ceremony held on July 27 at OGDCL House, Islamabad.
