Technology, engineering and project management company Neste Jacobs and Quangang Petroleum and Chemical Industry Park Management have signed Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in the fields of technology introduction, energy efficiency, process optimization and consultancy services in Quangang, located in Fujian Province, China.

Our aim is to serve the companies of Quangang Petroleum and Chemical Industry Park providing them with the best available technology solutions, performance improvement and engineering services", says Jarmo Suominen, the Managing Director of Neste Jacobs.

Quangang Petroleum and Chemical Industry Park, located in the Quangang District, West coast of Taiwan Straits, is next to China’s national high class Xiaocuo Port. The Park is the pioneer zone of Meizhou Bay Petroleum and Chemical Industry Base covering almost 30 square kilometers in total.

So far, the Park has taken in investments of 54 billion RMB from 28 petrochemical related companies, resulting in a production value of 76,7 billion RMB in year 2012.
