echnology, engineering and project management company Neste Jacobs acted as a technical advisor to SL Capital Partners in the acquisition of Gasum Paikallisjakelu and Helsingin Kaupunkikaasu local gas distribution networks.

The agreement is in line with the imposed EU energy reform, which requires the separation of sales and distribution ownership in the gas and electricity infrastructure. As per agreement Gasum is giving up ownership of the distribution network, but maintains the supply contracts with gas customers. SL Capital Partners role is to maintain and develop the gas distribution infrastructure.
