Naftogaz has purchased a major portion of the exit capacity of Voyany-Uzhgorod line from Eustream, the Slovak transit system operator. The line is dedicated for supply of natural gas from the EU gas market to Ukraine via Slovakia.
Naftogaz has purchased a major portion of capacity of the newly created route till 2019.
The supply of natural gas to Ukraine via Slovakia are to commence as early as September 2014. It is expected that nearly 27 mcm of gas will be delivered daily via this route.
Yesterday Eustream has also published a notice informing of a successful completion of the Open Season procedure for the new line. The procedure was conducted based on the Memorandum of understanding signed on 28 April 2014 in Bratislava between UTG and Eustream.
