The global energy company Royal Dutch Shell selected MAN Diesel & Turbo for provisioning of rotating equipment and services.
One six-year Enterprise Framework Agreement (EFA) was signed for the supply of new compression equipment for Shell locations worldwide and another five-year framework agreement was signed for the supply of aftermarket parts and services for existing rotating equipment.
The agreement for new compression units covers a wide range of centrifugal compressors for sweet and sour gas services that will be used in both onshore and offshore applications.
MAN Diesel & Turbo and Shell have enjoyed close business relationships for many decades and cooperated in major up- and downstream projects around the globe, including the world´s largest Gas-to-Liquid (GTL) Project in Qatar.
“We appreciate this opportunity to continue our long lasting relationship. These EFAs demonstrate Shell’s level of confidence in our equipment and services”, emphasized Dr. Uwe Lauber, Managing Director of MAN Diesel & Turbo Switzerland and Head of the Oil & Gas Business Unit.
With these agreements in place, MAN will strongly promote its high-quality compressor equipment and services around the world.
