KUFPEC has recently signed two separate partnership framework agreements with Shell and TotalEnergies. The first agreement, signed with Shell Kuwait Exploration and Production B.V., establishes a framework to strengthen collaboration and support KUFPEC’s long-term international growth strategy. The second agreement, signed with TotalEnergies EP New Ventures, supports KUFPEC’s strategic objectives of enhancing asset value and expanding its international upstream footprint.
These agreements establish a structured basis for cooperation focused on knowledge sharing, technical exchange, and the evaluation of potential opportunities for collaboration across both companies’ global upstream portfolios. The framework is intended to enhance asset value, promote technical excellence, and support informed decision-making, while preserving the strategic and commercial independence of both parties. KUFPEC CEO Eisa Al-Maraghi said these Collaboration Framework Agreements reflect KUFPEC’s commitment to building and strengthening strategic partnerships with leading international energy companies.
