Keppel Corporation Limited wishes to announce that Keppel Shipyard Ltd (“Keppel Shipyard”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, has received a limited notice to proceed (“LNTP”) from Golar Gimi Corporation (“Golar Gimi”), a subsidiary of Golar LNG Limited (“Golar LNG”), to commence early conversion works for the Gimi FLNG over a period of up to four months, worth up to S$50 million.
The Gimi FLNG is slated to support Phase 1 of the Greater Tortue / Ahmeyim project located offshore West Africa.
Full construction activities, further to the early conversion works under the LNTP, will commence when Keppel Shipyard receives the final notice to proceed.
A further announcement will be made when final notice to proceed has been received.
