	 J P Kenny wins three-year project management contract for gas storage development initiative
J P Kenny ('JPK'), a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC ('Wood Group'), has been awarded a contract with ACS Cobra Castor UTE for Construction Management and Procurement Support Services.

The three year contract follows on from J P Kenny's FEED and detailed design for the project and includes work on a 22km offshore pipeline and a 9km onshore pipeline. JPK will also be providing services for a block valve station, a 31km fibre optic cable, control umbilical, subsea isolation valve and protection structure. The project supports Gas Storage being carried out from offshore Spain which will be reinjected into the Spanish National Grid. J P Kenny's London office will lead the contract with a client support team being based in Madrid and the project will require approximately 72,000 manhours.
