Qatar Update
Pearl GTL
- Recognising QatarEnergy’s statement on 19 March 2026, we confirm no damage to train one and an initial assessment of around one year for full repair of train two at the Pearl GTL (Gas-to-Liquids) facility.
LNG
- Shell has 30% interest in QatarEnergy LNG N(4) equating to 2.4 MTPA of equity production.
- QatarEnergy LNG N(4) has not been impacted during the attacks on 18 March 2026.
- The plant is an integrated onshore processing facility, operated by QatarEnergy LNG, which can process around 1400 million scf/d from Qatar’s North Field.
- We also have LNG supply contracts from other QatarEnergy LNG facilities.
- QatarEnergy shut in production on 2 March 2026 across all LNG facilities and subsequently declared force majeure.
