Gazprom is ready to join multilateral cooperation with the National Iranian Gas Company, Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Russian Energy Company Gazprom Alexander Medvedev said.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of signing the Memorandum of Understanding between NIGC and Russian Gazprom, Iran’s SHANA news agency reported.
He said that Russia’s Gazprom Company is ready to participate in Iran’s gas projects through multilateral cooperation with other international companies including the Dutch and French companies.
Gazprom is interested to cooperate with Iran in the gas value chain from its start till the end, Medvedev noted.
He said Gazprom is interested in working with Iran in discovery of gas, gas production, LNG production, and delivery of gas through pipeline to other countries including India.
He said that Gazprom is ready to help NIGC in gas storage both inside Iran and outside the countries.
NIGC and Gazprom expert teams will start their work in the coming months, Medvedev added.
