Gazprom and Gasunie share technical expertise

The Russian gas company JSC “Gazprom” and the gas infrastructure company N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie have today concluded an agreement to formalize their technical and scientific cooperation in the field of gas transport and energy conservation.

The agreement was signed at the Gasunie head office in Groningen during the first meeting of the Coordination Committee on Science-technical Cooperation.

The cooperation programme for 2008-2009 involves the sharing of expertise on energy efficiency and environmental technology relating to gas transport, pipeline integrity, gas-transport management and project management.
