The company expects to consolidate its current position in Spain, Latam and Italy, to vertically integrate in up and midstream and to enter into new markets replicating its Spanish model, especially in developed markets of the Mediterranean and Atlantic basin.
Among its 2012 targets it is worth highlighting a gas portfolio of 35 bcm, reaching 10,000 MW of installed capacity worldwide and attaining 16 million points of supply, of which 6.7 million would correspond to Spain, where it will continue to be the leader.
GAS NATURAL will maintain an EBITDA compound annual growth higher than 12% (between 2006 and 2012) and expects to achieve an EBITDA of approximately ?3,900 million in 2012.
The target for dividend per share annual growth is above 10%, and the payout is expected to be 55-60% by the end of the Strategic Plan.
The Strategic Plan will position GAS NATURAL as a global leader in the distribution of gas, leader in efficiency in Iberia and Latam, third utility in Iberia, third global LNG operator and third global operator of CCGTs.
