GR-4 gas compressor station has been commissioned Tuesday 16/10/2018 in Hassi-R’mel (the province of Laghouat, 408 km southwest of Algiers) by CEO of Group Sonatrach, Abdelmoumène Ould Kaddour.

Hassi R’Mel is in the northern part of the Algerian desert, roughly 400 km south of Algiers, and is a gas hub in Algeria on which all the pipelines collecting gas produced in the Southern fields converge and from which gas pipelines carry gas to the north.

Bonatti executed engineering, procurement and construction of the plant.
