Fugro Proteus - the first of a new series of coastal survey vessels
Fugro has taken delivery of the Fugro Proteus, the first of three Fugro Offshore Coastal Survey Vessels (FOCSV) scheduled for delivery in 2014. The compact and versatile survey vessel is capable of undertaking a wide range of survey, monitoring and inspection operations.

Fugro Proteus is one of the most advanced vessels of its type and is designed for geophysical survey, light geotechnical work and environmental baseline surveys. At a length of 53 metres, the vessel is capable of moon pool deployments and has diesel electric propulsion for excellent economy at all speeds.

Each of the three new FOCSVs will be operating in different global regions and have been specifically adapted for the individual environments in which they will work.
