In a ceremony held at the Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore on 31 January 2015, Jill Miller, wife of Robert Miller, Clough Project Director Wheatstone HUC Project, had the honour of naming the Norwegian sector compliant DP 3 accommodation vessel Floatel Endurance.

Floatel Endurance is the fourth semi-submersible accommodation vessel built by Keppel FELS Shipyard for Floatel International and the vessel is due for delivery mid-March 2015. Immediately after delivery from the yard, Floatel Endurance will mobilize to Australia and commence a term contract with Clough/Chevron for Hook up and Commissioning of the Wheatstone platform. Floatel Endurance is also contracted to Statoil in the Norwegian sector; this work is expected to commence mid-2016.

About Floatel International Ltd

Floatel International Ltd was established in 2006 to satisfy a market demand for a new generation of offshore floatels. The vision of the Company is to own and operate the most modern, safe and reliable floatel fleet in the world to meet the increased market demand.

The first vessel, Floatel Superior, was delivered in March 2010 and is specifically designed for hostile environment meeting the latest North Sea regulations for year around operations. Floatel Superior has been in operation in the North Sea region since early 2011. Floatel Reliance is designed for medium harsh environment delivered October 2010 and commenced a 5-year charter for Petrobras in January 2011. Floatel Endurance and Floatel Triumph are currently under construction at Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore and are due for delivery March 2015 and April 2016, respectively. Both vessels are contracted immediately up on delivery.
