Foster Wheeler AG announced that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has signed a technical services agreement with OJSC Khabarovsk Oil Processing Refinery to provide construction management services for the hydroprocessing project at the refinery in Russia’s Far East.
The terms of the agreement were not disclosed and bookings will be recorded as work is released by OJSC.
The objective of the project is to produce more higher-value, lighter products. The complex includes a hydrocracker, hydrotreater, hydrogen unit, amine regeneration unit, sour water stripper, sulfur recovery unit, vapor recovery unit, waste water treatment unit, ground flare, tank farm and pump houses. The hydrogen plant is based on Foster Wheeler’s proprietary Terrace WallTM steam methane reforming technology.

We are very pleased to extend our role on this project, which is now in the construction phase.”
