Fire extinguished at the Neste Naantali refinery
Neste Naantali refinery had a fire today, 20 April at approximately 4 am. The fire started from an oven in the refinery's solvent unit. The fire was quickly extinguished, and it did not cause any injuries to the site's personnel.

As a result of the fire, the process units of the solvent production were shut down. The cause of the fire and the length of the repair work are being investigated. Neste currently estimates that the loss in production will be limited to solvent production.
