In accordance with the terms of article 17 of the Portuguese Securities Code, Galp Energia hereby discloses the following announcement received from the shareholder Eni:
“Further to the communications of reduction of the qualified shareholding held by Eni S.p.A. (“Eni”) in Galp Energia SGPS, S.A. disclosed in the Information Disclosure System of the CMVM on 3 December 2012 and 6 June 2013, Eni informs that, in accordance with the understanding recently transmitted by the CMVM, with which we disagree, the voting rights inherent to the qualified shareholding held by Amorim Energia B.V. in Galp Energia are not considered imputable to Eni pursuant to subparagraphs c) and h) of paragraph 1 of article 20 of the Portuguese Securities Code.
Accordingly, Eni holds 135,497,095 ordinary shares in Galp Energia, corresponding to a qualified shareholding representing 16.34% of the share capital and voting rights in Galp Energia.”
