Enagás a commencé le processus de sélection du personnel pour travailler au terminal El Musel de Gijón
Enagás has begun the process of selecting personnel for the El Musel liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Gijón, which received Administrative Authorisation from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge in July. The terminal will be used as a logistics facility. The company is searching for personnel who specialise in the operation, maintenance, and prevention of energy facilities, as well as other profiles. The terminal will employ a team of about 50 personnel, and it will also create about 100 indirect jobs.

The logistical use of the El Musel facility could contribute to energy security in Europe with a capacity of up to 8 billion cubic metres of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year, and unloading and loading up to 100 LNG vessels annually. This is particularly important in the current European context of reducing dependence on Russian gas, as envisaged in the European REPowerEU document.

The terminal will allow for the unloading of liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers from various producer countries and the fast loading of ships to different European destinations.

The regasification terminal has a storage capacity of 300,000 m3 of LNG, divided into two tanks of 150,000 m3 each. It also has berthing and unloading facilities designed for the world’s largest LNG carriers, the QMAX, of up to 266,000 m3.
