Mitsui & Co., Ltd. ("Mitsui", head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, president: Tatsuo Yasunaga) has been proceeding with the procurement of eight LNG ships intended to be used for the delivery, mainly to Japanese customers, of LNG from the Cameron LNG Export Project in the U.S.A. In addition to the five ships with time charter parties signed on September 26, 2014 and the two charter parties signed on January 29, 2015 (please refer to our TSE filing, "Conclusion of Time Charter Parties for LNG ships for Cameron LNG Export Project in the U.S.A.," dated January 29, 2015), Mitsui has newly contracted yesterday the eighth ship, as shown below, bringing the total maximum charter hire amount for the combined eight ships to approximately 700 billion Japanese yen.
