La China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) est une entreprise de production de carburant appartenant à l'État chinois. C'est la plus grande compagnie chinoise de gaz et pétrole.

CNPC aurait des réserves de 3,7 milliards de barils de pétroles. La plupart de ses acquis domestiques ont été transférés à une compagnie séparée, PétroChina, lors d'une restructuration. Elle a 30 projets d'exploration et de production internationaux : Azerbaïdjan, Canada, Indonésie, Myanmar, Oman, Pérou, Soudan, Thaïlande, Turkménistan et Venezuela.
