On August 21, CNPC President Jiang Jiemin and Chad's oil and mineral resources minister Mahamat Hassan Nasser signed a memorandum of understanding on appling for preferential export buyer's credit for the Sino-Chadian joint venture N'Djamena Refinery. Representatives of the two parties also signed a supplementary agreement of the joint-venture agreement and a loan agreement for the joint-venture refinery.
