CNPC : Abu Dhabi Belbazem Offshore Block put into production
On March 27, the Belbazem offshore block, phase 2 of the Al Yasat Project in Abu Dhabi, announced first oil production. As the first cooperative project between CNPC and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Al Yasat saw its phase 1 put into operation in March 2018. Successful production startup of phase 2 will bring new achievements and new highlights to the cooperation between the two sides.

The production of Belbazem is expected to facilitate ADNOC in achieving its target of 5 million barrels per day by 2027.
