Chrysaor has reinforced its portfolio through the award of additional acreage by the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) in the 30th Licensing Round.
Chrysaor has been awarded, as Operator, 6 licences covering 11 blocks or part-blocks.
Phil Kirk, Chrysaor’s Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded a number of licences in the 30th Round. These awards represent a boost to our existing portfolio and we look forward to maturing the acreage and its prospectivity. The OGA has done a great job promoting the UK’s oil and gas potential. Subject to consents and well planning, we will drill the first well on the acreage in 2019.”
