On September 14, located at Block B of the Bagtyiarlyk Contract Area on the right bank of Amu Darya, Turkmenistan, Well Tan-401D started to produce natural gas at a daily rate of 300,000 cubic meters. Currently, the gas produced is being transmitted to the Central Asia – China Gas Pipeline, after being treated at the No. 2 Gas Processing Plant of the Amu Darya Project. This indicates the successful commissioning of Bota, Tangiguyi and Uzyngyi gas fields.

Construction of the three gas fields commenced in September 2014, with a designed annual capacity of 1 billion cubic meters. Well Tan-401D is the first well to be put into production at the Tangiguyi Gas Field.
