Petroleos Mexicanos’ CEO, Emilio Lozoya Austin, and Eni’s CEO, Claudio Descalzi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation (MoU) that establishes the basis for cooperation and knowledge sharing in the upstream, midstream and downstream areas.
The MoU will also include cooperation and best practice exchanges in Health, Safety & Environment as well as Human Capital management and training.
During the meeting, a possible future strategic partnership in Mexico’s upstream sector was discussed.
Eni has been present in Mexico since January 2014 with a Representative Office in Mexico City.
